Teleos was written/recorded between August 10th and August 14th 2012 in the living room and bedroom of my current home, a.k.a. Mercurial Studios. The tracks were written in the order they appear on the album: Teleos on August 10th, Vessel on August 11th, and Apatos on August 14th. The first two came into existence during rehearsals for a show I played on the evening of August 11th, 2012 at Conundrum Music Hall in West Columbia, SC (the show included with the album download).
The final track (Apatos) is a sort of postlude, composed three days after the show. The tracks were all recorded in one take with no overdubs and edited minimally. The equipment I used: a Washburn electric guitar, an MXL V63M condenser microphone, a Zoom GFX-3 multi-effects pedal, and a MIDI footpedal a good friend of mine made for me, which was used to control loopers and effects in Ableton.
